First to the stage was local band Don’t forget Rupert the 4 piece were a brilliant support warming the crowd up with a mix of songs sure to get anybody excited and enjoying themselves. For me the stand out track of there set was blindfold, certainly a band to watch !
Then as let it go blasted from the speakers (unique choice of a walk on song for sure) Dougie Poynter with ink band mates Todd Dorigo and Corey Alexander took the stage awaited by an excited crowd.
Playing everything from their popular track fever to a rock cover of lay all your love on me (ABBA) they captured the crowd from the very first note to the last one .
The band were on form interacting with the crowd making jokes and was full of energy and despite this only been their first tour as a band there was a genuine enjoyable chemistry between the three, all of which the crowd were encaptured by creating an incredible atmosphere.
I for one am excited to see what the future holds for ink they are still on tour so if you get the chance I’d definitely recommend going to see them
